Worrying certainly, but it shouldn't be unbelievable. Every government bar one since 1979 has gotten into power on the basis of easily disprovable lies, and the one that didn't (Major's regime in 1992) was more down to its campaign being relentlessly negative than anything else.

I don't. Not surprised either.

I always feel that even though we're at the most technologically advanced moment of the human race, with a wealth of information in the palm of your hand...people are still spoon fed, manipulated, and for the most part stupid. And that's what these people use.
