No fact is the EU were not in the Good Friday agreements , and no one other than them made it a massive issue .......Southern Ireland trades 60% with the UK .... I agree it was a problem, but the current situation of an open border could have been worked out the backstop does not come up with a solution - hence the UK being tied to the EU for ever.....
many solutions have been put forward by working groups rejected by the EU.....
Fairy tales.

The first lot please

You would rather see the end of our union that has been around for over 300 years and put a hard border on Great Britain just to get rid of a few annoying issues we get from being a part of the EU?

The EU superstate will capsize all by itself when a right wing party gets to power in one of the major countries.

This is all your opinion...

No deal will not cause the break up of great Britain...

Why shouldn't Scotland be independent anyway??

I don't understand the clammer for London to control Scotland and Northern Ireland as it is...

If that's your opinion, and I agree with it btw, isn't it better to be as far removed as possible from the mess that will happen?

It's an opinion based on the facts available. Scotland voted to stay in the UK as it was already part of the EU and then as a country to remain. They have made it clear that ot is unacceptable for another country in the UK to have different terms to it (I.e. NI). It's kind of obvious that there would be an Indyref2 there as a result of these scenarios occurring.

Scotland has it's own parliament so it isn't controlled by London. They do well from being in the UK and it makes sense seeing we share this isle, however that doesn't mean they have to sit at the back of the bus helplessly if they are about to be driven over the cliff.

The EU embedded the very peace process. The man who chaired the negotiations stated this, Senator George Mitchell.

Joe, retract this in the interest of common decency and all that is Holy.

I'm all for Scotland being independent..

It's quite obvious that England and Scotland have Polar opposite views regards the EU.

As you say once we leave they will most likely have another vote which they are very entitled to do so on how which way they want to go.
