Looks like they are getting a few options to vote on next week , hopefully something comes out of it might have been an idea to do this 2 years ago
Not holding my breath to be honest but you never know
.

Apart from the fact that I think Cameron was a nightmare and that the whole thing is a terrible idea I think the major problems here started because May wasn’t perceived as a leaver . As a result she had to be seen to be a staunch hardline leader , frightened of criticism particularly by the media she rushed to article 50 when surely it would have been better to get our ducks in a row first . Don’t forget it’s not long ago that the likes of the mail were calling her the new Iron Lady , there are headlines in this thread of how she was standing up to the EU . if she’d been a leaver or at least a pretend one like the likes of Johnson maybe she’d have had more leeway to actually listen to people and Parliament and have genuine Brexit options , options that would have passed .

I mean I can see you think the most important thing in all this is that that’s the day we leave rather than we can try and get it right or at least try and make it less bad for every sector of society .

mays had over 2 years to sort this out to suit everyone. but she totally ignored both remainers and leavers.

so thanks to her we are where we are...

its time to leave as the law states and what was voted for in the first place.

I think it's aimed at kids, but it should be sufficient.

I thought Theresa May was supposed to have been trying to woo some of the harder-line Brexiteers to vote for her deal to get it through the house. In the last few days she appears to have moved on to "It's my deal or no deal". So her appeal to the hard-line Brexiteers will have to be something along the lines of " Vote for my deal or you will get what you want". Not a particularly well thought out negotiating strategy, I don't think.

The UK voted for her to lead the discussions. How they decided to do this after her first stint as PM and her period as Home Secretary is beyond me. You simply can't put the blame on a single individual.

On another note:

”Our country is facing a national emergency,” the main British business and trade union groupings, the Confederation of British Industry and the Trades Union Congress, said in a rare joint statement.

“Decisions of recent days have caused the risk of no deal to soar,” the statement said. “Firms and communities across the U.K. are not ready for this outcome. The shock to our economy would be felt by generations to come.”

If this ends with a bad deal or no deal, then David Cameron is to blame, Theresa May is to blame and the public is to blame.
