Record number of people in work and lowest amount of unemployment for 40 odd years..

Yes this brexit will end us all...

Lol lol lol

How you going to spin this one then

Ah yes but as soon as the referendum result was announced.. All that was forecast was economic meltdown

Hasn't happened

Polar opposite

Good for you. I didnt believe the utter crap that either side spouted. Just astonished so many did.

And as for the "record" number of employed. I would bet your trowel against my scanner that there is a record number of old people in old peoples houses and "Community Living Facilities".

Go figure.

All I'm getting at is it's very positive either way..

Its not negative, granted. But folk who point to one bit of news or data then frantically rush to prove or disprove a stance re Brexit havnt really thought it through.

Same thing happened when JLR or Nissan or someone said they were doing something. Remainers were on it like a rash. Proves nothing.

Sounding very much like Britania unchained mantra...

One hour over one week, counts as being employed these days. More pertinent would be details of people in work and not on means tested benefits.

Yep. I deliver in just 2 postcode areas. Heavens knows how many there are, must be 000,s. I reckon there are at least 10 other delivery lads in those 2 postcodes. Most "self employed", and the employed lads must work 7 days a week. Still not got my head round that.

Its not the hardest job in the world, but if you rely on it as your main income, with a young family and that, christ, the units you must shift to get a decent wedge is insane.

Then lob in care workers, tourism workers, pickers, it aint that great.
