We can actually just revoke it. If Parliament decided that’s what we should do they can revoke and EU have to accept it.Surely even the most ardent remainer accepts that the only way to call it off would be with another referendum? They can't just say no we are reversing the decision and that's that.
Ok put it this way.
I’d like the country not to press the self destruct button.
If we leave the EU, we will become Little Britain. We will have no trade deals, our economy will tank, we’ll pay through the nose for anything imported, we’ll have difficulty exporting things, many will lose their jobs, medicines including vital lifesaving insulin will be in short supply, the list goes on.
But yeah, carry on.
Someone needs to grow a pair and do just that.
I don't think I'd be happy, but let's not forget the near 40 years of 'leave campaigning' since we signed up to Europe. Also, it wouldn't happen as we would have a consensus of opinion and no actual further decisions to make. We would simply remain. Please stop dissing with me mate. You know full well what hypothetical means.
We are talking here about the principle of UK MEPs using the platform in the European parliament to speak out against the UK parliament policy. In both the hypothetical scenario and the Farage case this is what happens. So surely, if you're going to be consistent in this you have to say that it's either ok for both of them to use it, or wrong for both of them to use it. Personally I'm fine with it as I said.
I also asked you another hypothetical question which you didn't reply to. And that is how you would feel if remain won the first referendum and then 2 years later were pushing for a second referendum
I'll tell you how this goes. If you get a no deal brexit, people on the border will be hurt or killed and 20 years of hard work to nullify morons will be wiped out, but you dont really care about that part of the UK, do you. That's your opinion.
Nobody knows how this goes.
No one can tell me any different.
It's bit like religion this. Some ppl like to believe in fairy tales and others see right through them.
All I care about is leaving the EU as is the law on the 29th marchI'll tell you how this goes. If you get a no deal brexit, people on the border will be hurt or killed and 20 years of hard work to nullify morons will be wiped out, but you dont really care about that part of the UK, do you.
Likewise the land of milk and honey that leavers claim. You have no evidence for any of that. That's pure hysteria.
We can actually just revoke it. If Parliament decided that’s what we should do they can revoke and EU have to accept it.
It would be politically toxic here but it is possible.
It could be 90/10Does the fact that the vote was almost 50/50 not tell anyone anything?
At least post the gif up!!
Oh yeah you don't know how
*face-palms

But it wasn’t 90/10.It could be 90/10
Same result
pretty selfish stuffAll I care about is leaving the EU as is the law on the 29th march
@Wizard is just totally ignoring the will of the majority here..I'm completely aware of that. As you say, it's a unilateral option to revoke it. They can't say no.
But it's toxic as you say. It would show that our politicians are on a different planet and they would all lose their jobs at the next election.
There will have to be either a change of government to one which runs on a anti brexit manifesto, or another referendum, for this to be revoked.
I’ve tried not to bite too much but here goes. That's your opinion.
Nobody knows how this goes.

Your an intelligent fella. I'm sure you don't need me to point out what the law states regards the referendum resultBut it wasn’t 90/10.
It was almost 50:50
