It was a lie mate.
Yeah I mean looking at these you'd have to have some brass balls to claim that there was no promise to spend on the NHS.

So is it to do with Nigel or Boris make your mind up, clearly that is miss leading get use to it it's politics at end of day, yes figure is manipulated but it's not pulled from thin air.
Farage stated he had nothing to do with that poster, like him or loathe him he knows the EU inside out, without UKIP the people would have not have had a voice in the referendrum - I for one am totally surprised in the out vote, but let's move on and become a independent world power yet again it can be done IMO The EU is a beaurocratic curruption expensive project ready to explode in the future IMO!

No they said it was potentially misleading. Implying that it could be seen to general public as a net figure, when the real net figure was 200 mil plus a week, 35 mil a day and 10 bil a year, 350 was a gross figure.

I am not disputing the fact that leave manipulated the figure, would of been better to of used 35 mil a day net.

It doesn't matter if it's 200 or 350 anyway mate. The whole amount is gone due to the country's reduced tax take caused by the damage done to the economy.

Spot on, I am not farages biggest fan, however to say he had anything to do with the 350 mil figure used is ludicrous, he was ignored by leave campaign due to being a marmite politician and gov and co happy to lie where nigel on leave and Sturgeon on remain imo are more honest.

£350 million is nothing compared to what is now going to have to be spent propping up the economy.

The chances of taxpayers getting anywhere near the £46 billion we spent bailing out RBS has also gone up in smoke

How is it, 10 bil a year net to eu that is a start, then being able to trade with world not just 15% of the world EU single market.

Then we can cut things like foreign aid and other money laundering scams that go on things like f16 jets to Argentina.

I was a remainer but the way this vote has come out I am happy we can move on and move forward.. Excited with possibility's, people have spoken and let's hope people have more of a voice than politicians.

You made the claim mate, I was just wondering who the individual experts are that are saying Brexit is bad and what they said pre-2008 or the Euro or the various other major economic events of our age. If you don't know it's ok, but I just want to be clear.

I'm glad you bring up the whole RBS thing. I think this issue and others like it played a part in why some people at least voted Leave. This bail out and other financial ball ups like it in recent years have all happened during our time as a member of the EU.

The EU is painted by some as this fantastic institution of security, but many normal folk think, rightly or wrongly, that perhaps if we had not been part of the EU then we would have had more control over things like this.

I have no idea whatsoever if things would have been different if we had not been part of the EU around that time, but it is in my view a sensible assumption for some people to make.

Bearing in mind we will have to bail out Greece and Portugal and possibly Spain eventually eu is far riskier road to follow.
