Isn't this a case we are benefiting from trading with the EU? Once removed we may not be outperforming them.

Trade will not go away. Why should it ? Which countries will not wish to trade with the EU’s largest trading partner, the U.K. Why would they ? Politics are politics, but trade is trade......Meanwhile both the USA and Australia want immediate deals with the U.K. The EU is a protectionist entity, always has been. But now they have a real choice, business with the U.K. or recession......

That's if we get a trade deal with the EU. It's ok targeting improved deals with the rest of the world but if you don't look after the bread and butter only the rich companies that have the bank balances will still be around to do anything and by and large these are multi-national anyhow.

It works both ways. The U.K. and the EU have alignment in every law and standard. The only thing stopping a trade deal are the EU bureaucracy for political reasons. The nations that may lose out will put them straight, or they will lose out.....

Ergo... disaster capitalism. I was mocked for raising it the other day. I would guarantee the biggest players will either 1. influence the outcome, 2. have knowledge of the outcome, 3. (And a definite) will benefit from the outcome.

Yes in theory it is very simple. But to allow it the EU kills itself as every other country will want what the UK has got.

It’s all been covered tbh...Remainers are now just filibustering and asking the same questions over and over again, without reading the answers given, and without realising that we are just under 41 days from leaving......

Still not one Remainer has put up a case for why we should remain, no decent arguments, no facts nor reasoning, really sad to see....

Less than 41 days, tick tock....

Then the question has to be asked, ‘what is the EU for’. If it’s better to be out why shouldn’t the EU recommend that everyone leaves. If they believe that remaining is not good for a country, why remain.......it’s now just a political project and has forgotten why is was set up.....

That’s a great question btw......status quo, rule of parliament, or rule of the unelected........

Which is a nice lead-in to my last song for tonight. Great live performance! Orchestra rockin' out as well!

Totally on-topic, old bean. Status Quo - whatever you want. Rather apt, what!

Jump to 1:24 for the Quo's start.

Rock on! ;)
