It's called the democratic vote mate.........17.4 million foolslollollollollollollollollol
That was two years ago Joe, I clearly stated that in the current situation the best thing to do would be remain, though for me it doesn't change much but I would hope some of the 17 mill would be open to admitting they made an honest mistake

For what feels like the billionth time, why isn't it? It's not enough to just say it's not better; give me firm, tangible reasons we'll be better off outside it please.

Because I believe it will ultimately stunt our economic growth. The EU is a reducing market, both in terms of our exports to them and compared to world gdp and growth. The Eu is engaged in transferring both money and manufacturing from the West to the East, neither of which you have ever voted for......

Key word highlighted.

People believe that a hidden planet is going to smash into earth and destroy it; doesn't mean there's any basis behind that belief.

You basically have nothing but blind faith.

No I have facts that show that the EU percentage of world gdp is falling. I have the facts that show growth is behind the rest of the world, I have facts to show that our exports to the EU as a percentage of our total exports are falling. These are all facts......

Well following that logic, when/if our trade with the EU grows, you would want to rejoin then.

If they dropped the intention of a super state and the ‘harmonising’ of everything and spent more time looking out than looking in, possibly......

In a global world, harmonisation is inevitable as it makes trading globally that much easier. Similarly, the various projects that allow digital health records to easily flow throughout Europe make complete sense, but to do so would require a degree of harmonisation (or standards) to be adopted to allow ease of sharing.

It's no different to something like the Internet. If every country went as the French tried to and have their own networking protocols, it would be rubbish, as the French system was. If we had harped on about sovereignty then we'd have our own version of Minitel and no doubt feel really smug about it.
