Incorrect. In a democracy i carry out the wishes of the majority,i now give them a choice on how they would like to leave. So in a democracy you take away the option that might be preferred by most. Well done.

The negotiated deal has already been universally rejected. So the situation has changed. Why would a democratic vote be undemocratic? Do you no longer care about what the majority of people in the country think? No No, the options should be leave with a deal or leave without a deal. Those are the only options open to a democracy
The result of the referendum in1975 was implemented. The result of the referendum in 2016 has not as yet.Once it has then it may be challenged, Democracy in action. Simple really.Unless you are somebody who only believes in democracy when it suitsBy that logic, the referendum in 1975 ish should still stand. Unless there is a time limit on your democracy.
The latest polling suggests that 56% of voters now want us to remain. You think they should be ignored. We have not implemented the first democratic vote yet.
You're ignoring democracy when it suits you and wanting to implement it when you think it may be in your favour. LaughableThe latest polling suggests that 56% of voters now want us to remain. You think they should be ignored. You only believe in democracy when it suits.
When have I ignored it? They’ve spent 2 1/2 years negotiating a deal that no one wants. Rather then leaving without a deal (which isn’t what was campaigned for by the leave campaign) I think it should be recognised that the situation has changed, 2 1/2 years is a long time in politics and we should ensure that leaving without a deal is actually the will of the people. You're ignoring democracy when it suits you and wanting to implement it when you think it may be in your favour. lollollol
My democratic position is this. We leave the EU at the end of march with or without a deal but leave we must. If the government then feel that we should then have another referendum then so be it, I would not have any problem with that as that would be how democracy is supposed to workWhen have I ignored it? I suspect that you suspect that it isn’t and that is what you’re actually afraid of. Not democracy.
there was a 10% lead for staying a few weeks before the last vote , even on the night it had remain still ahead by about 3 points. The latest polling suggests that 56% of voters now want us to remain. You think they should be ignored. You only believe in democracy when it suits.
Of course. But a lot has changed since then. Are you concerned that the will of the people has?there was a 10% lead for staying a few weeks before the last vote , even on the night it had remain still ahead by about 3 points.
we all know how that ended.
no mate, just makes it all a bit of a mute point if you enact only the ones you agree with and ignore those you don't.Of course. But a lot has changed since then. Are you concerned that the will of the people has?
So you would’ve been happy with May’s deal?no mate, just makes it all a bit of a mute point if you enact only the ones you agree with and ignore those you don't.
not really any reason to have any if we just go along with the status quo anyway.
