I think I would listen to the Calias side of the proposal than the BBC they check the lorries not the BBC....

Here’s a couple of quotes direct from Dover , weird in Brexit seeing leave voters dismiss British concerns and backing the French . All upside down these days .

The port of Dover has warned there will be serious traffic congestion once a week in the town and on surrounding routes unless the government achieves a Brexit deal involving frictionless trade.

Richard Christian, the port’s head of policy, said there would be “regular gridlock” in Kent in the event of a hard Brexit, and disruption to freight traffic on ferries and Eurotunnel services would have a profound impact on Britain’s economy.

“Operation Stack may be needed around once a week,” he said, referring to the police traffic controlimplemented in the summer of 2015, when industrial action in Calais led to lorries being parked on the M20 for 21 days.

Standing in a lorry park in the Port of Dover, Tim Dixon contemplates the prospect of Britain leaving the EU with much unease.

As general manager of Motis Freight Services Agency’s Dover operations, and under a mandate from the UK Border Force, Mr Dixon processes applications for customs clearance from lorry drivers taking freight into continental Europe.

At present, he and his 30-strong staff are almost completely focused on customs paperwork relating to hundreds of lorries that each day take goods to or from non-EU countries such as Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine.
“From the 500 or so [lorries going to non-EU countries] that we process now, we could suddenly be doing up to 10,000 a day,” says Mr Dixon, a stocky 51-year-old who has lived in Dover all his life. “I don’t know how we — or Dover itself — could cope with an increase on that scale.”

But as they contemplate the uncertainty ahead, customs experts are agreed on one point: a disorderly Brexit — in which the UK leaves the EU with no deal in March 2019 — would spell disaster. “Catastrophic is the word I would use,” says Mr Dixon. “It puts the shivers up you. It would devastate the local community.

That literally makes no effing sense, I'm not defending it you are out of sheer tribalism. No one has accused you of placing the link, I've asked you if you would do so, given out contains kelvin Mackenzie, and in a positive manner
I answered you I can't stand the Richardhead ok drop it take it up with the tv companies as he still appears on our TVs I turn him off - I suggest you do the same ok!

No , sorry mate . What I mean was unachievable were the promises made . We were told that everything was incredibly simple “easiest deal in history “ that trade deals would be done within days etc all that was obviously not possible . The Irish border situation is a different conversation with current red lines I’m not sure it can be resolved.

As regards leaving , of course it’s a mess but this deal is certainly leaving because it’s absolutely not remaining so it has to be leaving . Now it won’t get through, so what happens next I agree is the issue but trying to make something out of this dogs breakfast is far from easy .
Take no notice of me mate, normally don't get worked up
But just feeling they are taking the p now, not remain supporters , that lot in parliament messing about the lot of them taking everyone for a mug , in/out left /right every party , it's getting me going at the moment.
Not in a good place mentally at the right now so will give it a rest for a bit, nothing to do with anybody on here by the way.
Be back after the vote.
Sure that will put me in a good mood.
