Jean-Claude Juncker said on Friday: “The repercussions of the British referendum could quickly put a stop to such crass rabble-rousing, as it should soon become clear that the UK was better off inside the EU.” Britain simply has to go, on bad terms, pour encourager les autres.

He's going to be a bad tit isn't he

Think David Cameron not only messed up by calling a refendum and not having an exit plan in place just incase, but also if we'd remained he would of sold one of are very last and most important bargaining chips (the right to withdraw our consent from future treaties) in that great new deal he worked out with the eu

This video explains quite a bit and is worth a watch

Can you blame him we have just put two fingers up to him.

Highly unlikely though mate isn't it?

It all frigging complicated to be honest, Someone like me just sees 12.9b sent to the EU and 4b back

It is complicated. It's much easier over here, because while each state maintains their autonomy on some level, we are Americans first and foremost. Whereas in the EU Germans are Germans, French are French, and don't get me started on the UK.

But in terms of it making sense, it completely does, if you are keen on being a part of a larger collective. Comparing the EU and the US is certainly not apples to apples, but there are parallels. Like the example I gave of Michigan. Once a thriving state within the union that is now a burden.

There has been a proposal over here to split up California into 6 states. It's 100% about creating haves and have nots. Currently California is the 7th largest economy in the world, only the United States, China, Japan, Germany, France, Brazil, and the United Kingdom are bigger in terms of GDP. The proponents say that CA is too big to be governed efficiently as a state. Which is just a veil for creating three very wealthy states and three very poor states...making the poor someone else's problem. The proposed Central CA that currently receives the most government aide from CA, would become one of the poorest state in the union.

how many times... WE HAVE 2 YEARS TO SORT OUR EXIT PLAN OUT!!!!!

Are you for real ?

You think it's acceptable that the leave campaign have campaigned for four months to have the country leave the EU but are now saying it is the other side's responsibility to have a plan ? And that they shouldn't have had a plan before asking the population to leave ?

How any Leave voters can still stand by their vote is astonishing. The country is burning.

Why shouldn't they stand by their vote? Its been 72 hours since the vote, there is always going to be uncertainty after such. The reasons for the people wanting to leave has not changed, just the landscape is a little unsteady at present. It appears to me there is a lot of worst case scenarios being predicted with regards to what happens next. The truth is people can predict etc to their hearts content but nobody knows what is about to happen. I would imagine also a lot of what is being reported and said is just gesticulating for personal/party/countries gains. What is being said by the Remain Conservatives/Leave Conservatives/other parties and European leaders/countries etc are a lot different to what will be being said behind closed doors etc and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
