You never put a deposit down on a car unless you agree terms of your deal........

But we did agree on the deal , we agreed and committed to pay that’s why we have to pay .

to use your analogy we bought it but subsequently decided we don’t want the car but we’ve got a HP agreement, you’ve got to pay or your credit rating tanks .

they had not seen the jackanory legal leaving deal with a backstop and the other deal on vague promises - the French oh we will want your fishing waters-President Makron...... he cant even control his own country FGS!

So you think the negotiations went on and the team at no time reported back how it was going or what was happening , what the status was ? So it was like a secret when they revealed it ?

I mean as is common I again can’t see the jump from your point , to my answer to ‘makron’ But Why can’t he control his own country because there was riots ?

We owe them nowt 40 years of being in the red on subscriptions.......to the tune of 9 billion per year......

I’m not going to argue the benefits of being in the EU with you because I know how you’ll answer but To put it in your analogy you buy a car but don’t like the deal you don’t have to pay because you’ve already paid loads ?

The EU if we had negotiated harder ie put them under pressure would have not used ireland as a spanner to get their own way in one sided negotiations in which 27 countries agreed a deal in 45 minutes.........

You're talking like there are a thousand legal possibilities. There aren't. The treaties don't allow that. You can find them online.

Also what makes you think that the fishing quotas (for some reason very important), won't be sold to Dutch, Icelandic etc... again.?

It was posted t'other day that the fishing industry is about the same size as the book publishing industry, whom I'm sure leave voters give all sorts of a damn about.
