obviously a very intelligent bloke, sadly alot of labour members wouldnt vote for him i dont think...

Nope no vote for me, it would be very naive to have him as leader, given his other career in public office, he got away with Worboys given he is in opposition in time limited position, there are many other cases just waiting for the media to peddle out and the general public are easily led and partisan... After all he was Director of Public Prosecutions and prior to this Defence Barrister on human rights. Not very populist, such is the nature of UK law...

The MPs can amend the withdrawal motion and the government didn't want that to happen.

Ted Heath, David Cameron, Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher your boys are taking one hell of a beating. Reminds me of us last year...
 
The Government is in contempt, could not more serious. This is a very lucky Government to find itself in fixed term parliament era; this cluster fudge would have gone long ago without it.
