Even with our voice in it why are illegals just being allowed to sail across from France in a rubber dinghy?........
I have not heard one word from Calais to say how they are going to stop it?........

i suspect it has negligible financial impact on us, very sad for those on the boats though

Plus of course it's not at all true that France are 'letting' people blow up a dinghy and row across. As anyone that's ever travelled through Calais or Dunkirk will surely attest, pretty much all large vehicles are searched thoroughly. The bus I caught back from Czech once was stopped, with the engine, wheel arches and so on searched, as well as all passengers disembarked and checked. A thoroughly lovely experience, but I did at least rest easy that someone Joe will never meet and who will have no impact on his life won't sneak in in his speedos and spend their life watching Homes Under The Hammer in the lap of luxury.

Really our boats have to go out to save them they mobile in once they are in English waters and we then have to take them to the UK urm yes it cost nothing........
They then have to be vetted and the human rights acts means most of them will stay encouraging more to take the dangerous route over the channel from France ......
EU law states immigrants are to stay or sorted out in the first country they land most come from Iran yes the EU works well....not!

You will find there was specific agreements in place meaning our border was technically in France for such situations. I suppose as we are leaving, the EU is winding down the operations. If I remember correctly this type of incident occuring was part of project fear hysteria, guess what? Gaining sovereignty comes with responsibilities, one of them is maintaing our own borders.

On security what a joke we can't stop illegals travelling from Calais , and we are in the EU what cooperation with the French our supposed allies, who somehow cant stop boats travelling across the channel......
Its took years to stop them coming vis the tunnel now they can resort to this - the French again turn a blind eye to this , but demand to fish in our waters .........
the sooner we become a sovereign state with proper border controls the better.... security is non existent - police cut - -border forces cut - the employment jobs alone will rise if we leave to stop all this - we are an island and we seem to not be able to stop illegal entries?.........
I couldn't care less about immigration or peoples nationalities, it's sad that you let a coincidence of geography dictate your entire ethos

You say bizarre logic, nothing bizarre at all, I'm putting it into a few short sentences instead of writing blogs of guff on it like a few in here do, I say I'm cutting to the chase and seeing the truth.

No deal brexit, we keep what we have now, and we slowly grow, yes we'd grow faster accepting May's deal, but we are doing alright as it stands now after 10 years of austerity, our projected growth is more than it has been for the last 10 years if we end up with no deal, that is the reality.

And I am absolutely certain, with a no deal, the EU will work to make trade quicker and smoother with us, we buy more than we sell, we are massive customers to several of the EU countries, it hurts them as well as us.
What are you basing the idea we will stay with what we have now on? Where is your figure of 2% growth coming from? We are not doing alright now, people are starving to death under this government, 1 hours work every two weeks is classed as employment, this government had introduced policies of sheer cruelty, why do you think is a good idea to give them more control on employment law etc?

I expect no answers

Socialist or not it laughable the way the EU the French take the P out of us - just go to the country of plenty -i am talking illegals here not immigration .....
they need putting back on a boat and dropping back off to the first country they landed - children No adults yes.. paying £40,000 to do it - the French a deadly silence .......
you want to separate children from their families, thats disgusting

The coast of Northern France facing the channel covers quite a large area Joey, it`s impossible to for the authorities to " police " the whole area to stop them launching these tiny, dangerous, almost undetectable boats in the middle of the night.

They aren`t being " allowed " to sail across from France, it`s crooks / people smugglers making massive profits out of desperation.

Just think about it for a minute :

Under what circumstances would you cram your entire family into a rubber dinghy, made for less people, then try to sail it across the English Chanel, in the dead of night, at the end of November ???.

Two answers - In fear of your life or sheer desperation.

i very much doubt they even know this is going to happen, they prob arrive at the dinghy without a choice...

Yes they are desperate what are the French doing about it - someone's making cash to organise it it from the Calais camps that have sprung up yet again, as before no effort from the French authorities the crime is the un scrupulous gangs who are chargingin 40 k for the service of sending people including children into dangerous waters....
