Valid points..I would certainly take notice of them as indicators that our gowth, post brexit will be slower than if we stayed in the single market (as all the anlysis from many different idependent research groups shows this happening. longer term (say 10 years down the line) no-one knows for sure what our economic picture will look like after Brexit but I would definately take notice of this research when looking at the next few years.
The problem is for me, the actual damage done to our industries, our financial services sector and our scientific r+d capabilities etc during this period...It's okay saying we'll bounce back in 10 years, but you have to look at it and say well where would we be as a country in 10 years if we stayed in the single market?
There's a whole generation of young adults just now moving into higher education or entering the jobs market and they are in danger of having their career prospects severely limited due to brexit.
