EU have just agreed terms- summit on Sunday will go ahead on Brexit - even ardent remainer Ken Clark reckons its a good deal and he will vote for it....
This must be the softest Brexit on record for that lot the greedy EU to rip her hands off.........
Empress Merkel has spoken telling them to jump back in there boxes , Spain ect she wants this ending so it will end, and it does a day after, impressive use of power by the lady.

Yes it is Joseph. That is because the vast majority of Evertonians are sensible and wish the UK to remain in the EU.
Oh please, GOT doesn't even accurately reflect how most match going Evertonians feel about managers, players, football or the club in general. You'll have to forgive me if I don't take the idea of this thread being an accurate representation of how Evertonians feel about the EU and Brexit very seriously.

I think that’s probably right to be fair , anecdotally my match going group is probably split more remain than leave but im not sure that’s representative. Obviously Liverpool as a city voted remain 58% which would indicate a potential slight bias to that but I did read a survey that had Blues down as amongst the most Brexity although I think it was a fairly small response group.

Overall what I’m saying is I think I agree with you in that the Internet and this forum probably doesn’t tell us too much about how Evertonians feel collectively. Other than being fairly united in hating the RS obviously.

just had a brief look at the deal announcement, few interesting bits workers rights are protected,EU court human rights to stay, UK may still be involved with the EU investment bank.
looks like love or loathe her she has tried to put a little bit in for everybody.
vague on fishing could cost her the scottish tory vote if i have read it correctly.

The ECHR is the one concrete thing in the agreement, the rest is intentionally vague nonsense from a PM who specialises in such things.

Wouldn't take too much notice of that survey.

She seems to have a lot of support on the Clapham omnibus.

Indeed.

The Brexiteer zealots in Parliament, in the right wing press and indeed here on GOT are well out of step with the reasonable person on the street who is hoping this deal goes through and puts an end to the hard Brexit wet dream of Rees Mogg and his preposterous sidekick, Mr. Francois.

I think people just want it to be over and this middle ground however poor it seems may just satisfy them , to me though it does really put a spotlight on the while decision in the first place but we are where we are .
