15 minute walk down past Trafalgar Square and along the Mall. If you wanted, you could always loop back via Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square and tick off a few more Monopoly sights:)

I don’t normally look forward to going down because it’s early train down, battle through the tube for a 2 hour meeting.

First time I’m going down the day prior so I’m definitely going out in full tourist mode

Not my cup of tea at all (as it's usually absolutely heaving), but I believe the lights were switched on on Regents and Oxford Street at the weekend if that's your bag. It's all walkable from Covent Garden, and you could take in China Town in the walk back through Carnaby Street/Soho.

Yes the coffee machines all at our expense .......
You may scorn wanting to belong to an institution like them - you know no better that's the problem we survived without them no deal looks a good prospect under WTO rules atm......
The WTO oversees a system of trade rules for its 164-member countries, which together account for no less than 98 per cent of all global trade. Under the WTOGeneral Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (the GATT), tariffs on most manufactured goods between the UK and the EU would stay quite low, averaging around 3 per cent.4 Aug 2018

Time we conclusively buried that myth.

WTO rules are primitive, barely better than nothing.

Which is exactly why countries worldwide try so hard to do trade deals.

Fundamentally WTO is for countries that can't do any better.

And if Trump has his way, the WTO will all but collapse any old way and where would that leave us?

Up the proverbial, that’s where.

Let me repeat.

If WTO rules were desirable in the first place, why would any country be falling over itself to do trade deals with as many trading partners as it can?

Yet more nonsense from the Brexit loving right wing media.

You are being duped, Joe.

Oh @Joey66. Shall I delve into more detailed information for you. WTO tariffs on food products would be a follows
Whole Milk 70%
Low fat milk 36%
Beef 56%
Poultry 14%

Like consumer price increase on goods could range from 5-29%beef, 6-32% cheese and so on.

You also need to account for the Tariff Rate Qouta; something that is not required currently as the EU have negotiated this for the single market

Now the government could counteract this by reducing food tariff imports but this would affect the economy by undermining our own food producers.

On top of the you also have Non-Tariff Barriers, the inspections that happen at the Border. Pointless under the single market unless a third country import, devastating if no deal is in place.

The British Retail Consortium have expressed serious concerns relating to thousands of tonnes of perishable goods going to waste due to border checks.

A predicted £2000 extra onto imports, per container due to delays at the border for non-perishable items will be picked up by the consumer.

Then we have lack of infrastructure to deal with all this. Something the Freight Transport Association have been lobbying for.

But eh ho..... VIVA LA BREXIT

Oh good, I’ll definitely be strolling down there
