Just ignore the referendum alltoghter you blithering idiot May. You've done your upmost to destroy any position of strength we had going into negotiations and have embarrassed the country repeatedly with your incompetence and cowardice. There was never any room for compromise here, we either needed a whole hearted Brexiter as leader to take us into negotiations or an outright remianer who was honest enough to admit that they didn't consider the referendum anything more then a silly opinion pool that had that had no legal basis and they would be ignoring it. This pathetic attempt to have us "leave" while also attempting to keep everything the same has been nothing short of a national embarrassment. History will not look kindly on either Cameron or May. The two biggest political fools of the 21st century.

EU needed to realise their primary concern should have been to get the best possible deal For the UK and also to sort out the Irish border for us . Selfish gets
I would label them bullyboys.....trying to reverse a referendum yet again they are masters of it if people are gullible to go against a democratic vote in a he biggest turn out of the public for decades .......

No can't trust them, especially if they are just doing it to act out on other issues. I found this which pretty much sums up most people who voted to leave...take that establishment!

They aren’t though they are negotiating from their position , explain to me why they should put us at the forefront of their negotiations rather than theirs ? Everyone said it’d be easy , easiest deal in history , they’d be knocking down our door apparently. Hang on though everybody lied and you won , well done it’s going swimmingly.

I was working in part in Europe at the time of the vote, and given how the idea of a Tory government having more power frightened me it was very simple for me to vote remain. As a result I didn't follow the campaigns particularly, though leave always seemed more prominent and far nastier. But as an aside I can't think of a single public figure political or otherwise, that I would respect and put weight to their words that wanted brexit.

The most prominent Brexiteers (may have missed a few): Farage, Hannan, Gove, Johnson, Duncan-Smith, Galloway, Davis, Rees-Mogg, Leadsom, Redwood

I was saying to anyone who'd listen before the referendum that that alone was enough reason to vote remain.

A more insincere group of people you won't find, but even outside the political sphere I'm yet to hear anyone speak well on the matter for leave, or hear a pro-leave view from someone who's opinion I value, it was actually a tweet from Brian Cox that made me realise it, as he is someone outside of the political world whom I enjoy listening to

Take 40 billion off those table and they would soon renegotiate better terms......
