The EU tarrifs rates outside the EU on the WTO- we could and should sit on that ourselves for our benefit also get our fishing industry back the Dutch are already pushing to fish in the Irish Sea after Brexit farcical negotiations by May ....Where are we trading more with then?
Our trade has dropped for imports and exports the last two years.....Link me up Joey, I’m intrigued
Yes for FREE trade not £9 billion per annum...?...The world is a very different place now. Things have changed greatly since the 60's - early 70's. Oue economy is bound to Europe. We need Europe and Europe needs us.

Statistics on UK-Link me up????
What is the source of that quote? Can you include the link?Statistics on UK-
EU trade trade with the EU. ... The share of UK exports accounted for by the EU has fallen over time from 55% in. 2006 to 43% in 2016-
it's still falling.........
Repeating another poster's words back to them and adding dots on. Pathetic.Your pro -EU bile has become more than a bit tedious and repetitive at this stage. .......
If you want your views to be taken seriously at least try to contribute properly to the debate. .......
ditto
What you have omitted here is the fact that an additional 12% of UK trade is directly attributed to EU trade deals with other countries. So being part of the EU actually helps us establish trade deals with other countries at favourable rates given the bargaining position of the EU market as a whole. Post brexit we will be attempting to establish independent trade deals with these countries without us holding any aces. The political equivelant of taking a knife to a gun fight. In simpler words we are going to have to bend over and bite the pillow.Statistics on UK-
