No Joe. This isnt about scoring boring points on the internet. Its the actual deal "on offer", and even as a remainer, he is saying its terrible, and a betrayal of the Brexit vote.

I was commenting that a pro EU cabinet minister has resigned because the deal proposed today would be terrible. It wouldnt deliver what many Leave voters want, and it wouldnt be acceptable to many Remainers.

Didnt realise that not living outside the EU (I assume you mean pre the UK joining the EEC), makes ones opinions invalid. Nor doom laden. I am more concerned with the UK in 2024, not the glorious nirvana of 1974. (I was 9 btw)

May has made many mistakes but she is right to call the DUP’s bluff and plan for NI remaining in the Customs Union.

The DUP will never bring her down for fear of Corbyn becoming PM.

He's stated what we've known forever - that he detests the EU (hence his half arsed campaign to Remain - and saying "half arsed" is being nice about it), he wants to leave.

But, typical of Corbyn, he has his get out clause of a new customs union, because like with everything he does he's absolutely terrified of leading on any given subject.
