Given his previous brief was as universities minister, he'll know all too well how important EU integration is. It's a shame he wasn't sufficiently persuasive to influence either his brother or the rest of the Tory cabinet over the past two years.

No Joe. This isnt about scoring boring points on the internet. Its the actual deal "on offer", and even as a remainer, he is saying its terrible, and a betrayal of the Brexit vote.

That’s the point , I’ve no idea of his honesty or integrity although my first instinct would be to not trust him however if he is being genuine it’s not about whether any of us can crow or talk about remoaners or gammon it’s about where this mess is taking us . Nobody being happy in fact much less than happy is a terrible sign .
