Wrong voted Labour......not for Corbyn never voted when he was leader as he is abysmal.....opposition.....
My main vote was out stick to the subject in hand .......
You voted to leave the European Union under a Conservative government.
You thought 'I want to leave the EU and I trust this Tory government to do it properly'.

If you take this thread as an example though , I think the majority or at least a fair proportion of the remainers would like me say it was good news and perhaps reconsider their position if experts said that leaving would massively boost our economy. Yourself for example and the others simply wouldn’t , again not a criticism but it’s a fact isn’t it ?

The difference I see is that you can disagree or dismiss the experts or those saying the impact it’ll have because of what they steal from or who they are but their are plenty of them but like religion you believe wholeheartedly in your position.

The point being that you are probably concerned with the short term economy. I’m not and have always said so. It is also true that even doing away with the whole of our trade with the EU, which of course is not going to happen (it may require a few more documents, but that is all), it would only affect the economy by a max of 10%. So if the whole of Europe just disappeared in a puff of smoke, we would suffer a 10% hit to the economy. Many Remainers seem to believe that economically the world will end if we leave the EU when in reality it will probably only effect a very small proportion of a percentage point. Remember the U.K. will be the EU’s largest trading partner when we leave. So the economic case for me doesn’t really come into it. The world will open up again for us, generating additional exports to what we currently have (in addition to Europe) so economically we will be fine and most business people understand this. I’m more concerned with safety and security, controlling our own destiny and actually having a vote that can remove the top politician and their party, which we no longer have. If you wish to be controlled by a person who you have never voted for or against, then fine, but I like to think that my vote actually counts.....

Again though just to pick one phrase out , safety and security can you just drill down into that . Tell me why you think we’d be safer for example. It’s like the Irish border , a lot of leavers just seem to have the approach of ‘it’ll work out “ or “blooming eu” , that’s why I used the religious analogy . People won’t be swayed from their belief , I’ve got my own somewhat complex relationship with religion based on childhood indoctrination and reverting to it when in life threatening experience so I’m not using it as a stick to beat you it just seems a fitting analogy.

You got it wrong again, Bruce. Look, I've been trying to help you for ages in this thread.

The correct expression is: ALL YOU LOT WHO WANT TO REMAIN IN THE EU - DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT YOU ON THE WAY OUT!

I will still keep working on you, Bruce, because come next March, you and others will need all the solace that we can give. By then we will also have built a great big boat for you all to paddle across to Frankreich and become chums with Macron! ;)

-and in a rough 50-50 split, why aren't you jogging on to trump and the usa?

It's the remainers who are supposed to peddle project fear, you're supposed to have drunk the cool aid about how Brexit will do wondrous things to the country. As has been said upstream, if there were even the slightest hints of what that better future might be and how we'd get there, then you might have won a few remain voters over.
