The words I have put in bold says it all.

You can make assertions on the future based on your singular belief, but you cannot claim that that is how things will be. Because the reason is NOBODY can see into the future. And equally, NOBODY can say with any kind of %age certainty that certain things will happen. We can all speculate until the cows come home about everything. Hey, don't you know that Everton are going to win the Premiership, the FA Cup & the Leagus Cup next season? That's what it looks like to me. And therein is your flawed logic. Right there...

im confident in our ability to be able to run our own show quite comfortably without the need to be in the EU.

we are pioneers not followers.

the EU needs our input alot more than we need theirs. this is what the majority of the UK thought, hence the result.

we are prepared for what happens and we are confident that we can cope with and over come any reprocussions.

trust in our great nation, people.

Good comment in the Financial Times:

Poorer voters have declined to be bullied and they have asserted the primacy of their national parliament in an expression of civic engagement. London has been given a long overdue introduction to the strength of feeling outside the capital. Meanwhile, neighbours and friends in the EU who recognise that the bloc is failing have been sent a signal that democratic change that annoys Brussels is possible.

Hopefully the contagion spreads, and the EU crumbles.

The Tories have just spent months ripping each other apart, yet Labour are the party looking most likely to fracture and fall apart.

Staggering levels of incompetence, whichever way you look at it.

Another comment from the Guardian.

The Brexit vulgarians should use their short-fingers to build a Tardis so they can time-travel to Cambodia circa 1975 where their anti-knowledge attitudes would fit right in.

I'm not claiming to know the future mate. I know nothing is for certain. I'm just asking you for your opinion on how you personally consider the country will be able to overcome the economic and trade consequences of the decision? I know you don't want to speculate until the cows come home but surely you have an opinion on it.

I don't understand why nobody is allowed to consider the future, when the whole decision is going to determine our future?
