Serves her right.
Exactly, there are no checks for immigration purposes for people travelling between NI and Britain, yet Joey imagines that there are going to be some sort of immigration checks after Brexit. He is living in cloud cuckoo land.
The British electorate
Well May has played a blinder again today, not ,
The EU have basically told her to get the fck with the checkers plan leaving her the choice of giving in even further , leaving her and her party facing meltdown ,
dispite what the MP's might say there core support will not let her survive if she gives anything more.
She is doomed, unless she plays the iron lady card and says that's it and faces the EU down no matter what the costs.
Be interesting to see which way she plays it.
What a complete and utter shambles this is.
Regardless of whether you voted to remain, leave, or didn't bother to vote at all - this government has completely failed to negotiate any sort of reasonable deal that encompasses the result.
It's embarrassing.
What is really embarrassing are those that refused to accept a democratic vote and keep undermining the U.K. in order to suck up to the EU.......
What part of they spelled out the options from the off are you and May struggling with?It will actually. She has actually shown a bit of steel in facing down Boris et al, but to prove to the EU that she is really in charge she should sack Hammond. This would send a proper message to the EU that she is serious......

I think we have to be realistic about this.
The likely outcome of this is that the Tories will fall to the militant ilk of the ERG, and will likely force us to drop out of the EU without a deal.
No opposition party wants that, nor do many Conservative MPs, so there could be a motion of no confidence put into the government before November. If the opposition fails in forcing a general election, then it's only right for those opposed to a hard Brexit to then shift the decision back to the people.
