I can't remember, roydo. At that point in time, and for several months before, those kind of accusations were being posted regularly. Go ask pete and joey - they'll tell you the same thing.

You made a thinly veiled accusation that this forum, and by extension, the Mods, have condoned racist accusations at other posters.

Yet you cannot recall ever reporting one.

So a serious allegation. Is GOT condoning racism?

Even if he did, it wouldn't result in an infraction imo as it seems a point of fact that racists did vote for Brexit. Indeed, the polls suggest well over 90% of UKIPers voted for Brexit. Does that mean all voters were racist? Of course not.

Bruce: For God's sake, take off your 'Leave' rose tinted specs, and see posts like that for what they were/are. An accusation levied at those who voted leave. Racists also voted to remain. You STILL will not accept that those who voted to leave on here were subjected to accusations and abuse in this thread, with absolutely nothing done by you and other Mods.

Are you really prepared to stand by such posts? REALLY? Disgraceful, utterly disgraceful...

My post #19,142, quoting what tubey said: "...That's why I call Brexiteers delusional - because they're either that, or knowlingly lying about the obvious..." An attack on a mental state, and/or practisiing deliberate lies.

My post #19,143, quoting what tubey said: ",,,52% of the electorate were bloody idiots..." That is out of order.

Take a good look at yourself Bruce...

No, roydo, not condoned racist accusations, simply not taken any action regarding them. Two different things.

I have reported the odd personal abuse directed at me, but to ask me exactly when that was in a thread which is now over two years and 1926 pages long would be ludicrous...

In my opinion, and I would imagine the other lads, knowing them well, we would take exception to being accused of ignoring or not taking action on racist accusations. In any thread.

I think you are well off beam here mate, and a full apology for the unfounded allegations against the site would be welcome.

You may not be aware, (why would you tbf), that public forums that get accused of condoning racist allegations/allowing content, can be in serious hot water. You have accused GOT of that without a sliver of evidence, and have admitted you cannot even remember reporting a post you felt was accusing you of being a racist.

This isnt about EU, In/Out. You have made a serious allegation. We have a duty to protect the forums good name and reputation which you have questioned.

The vast majority of UKIP supporters voted leave. I regard UKIP as racist. Brexit was also supported by a plethora of politicians across the world, who I also regard as racist. It just happened to be supported also by you, who I do not regard as racist.

Whilst not abusive, an awful lot of your posts in this thread are dismissive and disrespectful.

And are you? You accused us of condoning personal racist accusations.

If one were to read back through this thread, it would be seen that those who voted leave responded to jibes and attacks - they did not initiate them. Why? Because the leave voters had no axe to grind in the first place. Why would I, pete, or joey (for example) go out of our way on a whim to personally attack remain voters? We have no reason whatsoever to do so. As I said, we respond to attacks, we do not initiate them.

And to reply to your second paragraph. No I did not. Re-read my posts again. There is a difference between condoning, and not taking action for whatever reason (one of which is the speed at which posts are put up in this thread - many times one could leave the thread for 3-4 minutes, and then have to catch up on half a dozen pages. I fully understand that keeping up with every single post in this forum is a thankless task for the Mods, and that they cannot cover every single balde of grass...).

And to get back to things. Jimmy Jeffers said I couldn't show anything. I believe I did. I do not wish to labour the point any further.

Re-read my posts again.

Re read mine a few above this. Unfortunately, your idea of a difference between condoning/not taking action on racist accusations is not shared by the authorities.

So please apologise for publicly accusing us of doing that, and this issue will be closed. Or provide evidence that we have condoned or allowed personal racism accusations at a poster. That you have reported.

As I said, this has zip to do with the EU debate. You made an accusation. Withdraw it without your interpretation of the issue, and all is good.

No it isn't a serious allegation - I have shown with a previous post what someone said. I don't know whether anything has ever been done behind the scenes, how could I, I'm not party to such things. Jimmy Jeffers made a statement following my post, and I searched back and provided him with an example.

I know full well about internet sites. I am Admin on a military site and in recent times have had to deal with (for example) a poster calling a WW2 German flyer a 'NAZI' without any substantiated information whatsoever. I and the other Admins had to take the matter seriously and advise of the possible implications should any surviving modern-day relatives read it. The implications being against the individual in particular, the site owner, and the Admins. We had to delete it pretty quickly. That's one example of what I have had to get involved in. I know where you are coming from. But I have NEVER said that you or anyone else has condoned such comments, only that I have not seen any action in public forum. That's all. Please understand this.

Thinking of changing my vote to remain now after these 2 headlines, not sure which one is going to affect me worse!

Now now, gentlemen - we're all Evertonians here.

I think all @Bruce Wayne was trying to say was is that Brexit is an aberration of contemporary consensus politics, predominantly driven by old men whose pensies no longer work so they need to take it out on the young, fitter, more sexually able people of the country by ensuring that house prices are sky high, and that we're forever constrained by student debt, and abandoning our closest economic allies.
