Surely the number which matters is the one which offsets those leaving Britain too?

The numbers that should matter are if we are losing skilled workers and replacing them with less skilled immigrants.
It might be the other way around we are losing loads of pensioners
and getting doctors, nurses ect
I don't know the figures , but it would make the issue clearer.

Well the HoL did their bit to undermine the referendum again, as expected, now its down to our MP’s to carry it through on Wednesday. May can appeal to those Labour MP’s who should really support her, but I guess that she will tell her own rebels to prepare for deselection or opposition, your choice.......if she loses the vote I would just pack it in and call a GE with Boris as Leader. Remain or Leave, as a country we have just been shot in the foot by our betters, god bless ‘em........

It seems most of the leading politicians are changing their opinions depending on how it will benefit them. It's a frankly rubbish state of affairs.

She was personally a Remain supporter. She had her vote just like everyone else. Leave won. She is now the PM with a responsibility, not a personal preference, to enact the outcome of the vote. She has never suggested she is pro-exit, but she has always said that the vote must be adhered to. What would you have her do, ignore the vote and do whatever she wants. She is the PM not some back bench, ego centric, know it all. She has responsibilities and will take them seriously....

And Grieve and co know that. They are just arm twisting as they don’t want to see even the possibility of Corbyn in no 10. They have a choice, support May and trust her to get a deal, or stitch her up and get Boris.......

That is only one item on a large list debated for a month before the referendum, and anyone who says that 17.4 million people were not aware of ticking the out box was a complete exit from the Polictical EU is a nonsense........

It is end of the EU cotezens of ank skill rate are part of the Four fundamentals of the EU one being uncontrolled Free Movement.....
