It is end of the EU cotezens of ank skill rate are part of the Four fundamentals of the EU one being uncontrolled Free Movement.....
I am all for controlled immigration.....
You want to look back on Jezzas record on the EU he hates it.......

We could have always had controlled EU immigration, the fact that we haven’t is down to the U.K. and successive Govts failing to resource and police it.

The idea that free movement by definition enables people to come here and get a free lunch, due to EU rules is a complete misnomer and one that has been perpetuated in order to hoodwink people.

If people come to the U.K. and don’t have work or the means to fund themselves after 3 months in this country then the U.K. is perfectly within its rights to deport them back to whichever EU country they came from - fact.

I think that is one of the key incompetencies of Cameron and the whole Remain campaign. If he had said from the start that from now on we would be rigourously following our existing deportation rights for EU citizens based here (and that we were bringing back blue passports!!!) I think the vote would have gone the other way, particularly if it had been combined with additional controls on non-EU immigrants. The whole Remain campaign was badly thought out, I believe, and Cameron's own hubris led it down the path to defeat.

You almost get tired of repeating the same facts and them falling on deaf ears don't you? EU migrants are typically have more qualifications, are employed more, commit fewer crimes and are younger than not only non-EU migrants but also the native population. That those who aren't earning, like you say, are not only denied access to welfare but can be repatriated, and indeed that these concessions were won by Cameron during that visit where he 'came back with nothing'.

I'm not really sure Joe et al really want to learn.

We will do it better outside of the EU? Given the EU was absolutely nothing to with the way we’ve completely mismanaged our borders, I can see how you’ve come to that obvious conclusion....

See Belgium for how to do it properly btw, and they’re part of Schengen ffs lol

For those of you who will still be in the EU, nothing to worry about because Merkel and Macron have stitched up your budget and how you will operate. No need to come up with your own ideas, it’s all been done for you, that’s nice isn’t it....

“German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron agreed on Tuesday to create a euro zone budget charged with boosting investment in the bloc and promoting economic convergence between its 19 states.
The leaders met to prepare for a summit of European Union leaders on June 28-29, with Macron keen to push through wide-ranging reforms to strengthen the euro zone and insulate the single currency union from future crises, while Merkel has been more cautious.
Merkel said euro zone reform was the toughest issue in their talks at her Meseberg retreat outside Berlin, where they also touched on European foreign and defense policy and immigration.”......

That is all about the Euro. Not the EU.

I will happily concede the 2 are now inextricably linked, but we were never in the Euro, and never likely to be.
