From using google all the reports and sources I’ve seen say 53% , 53.2% actually.

A misrepresentation in that it simply wasn’t true ? I don’t disagree with you though that his constituency had a majority for leave but haven’t we all had enough in this debate of lies ?

Settle down lads. Turnout was 76%, Leave got 53.9%, Remain came second.........
Yes ok I got the turn out figure mixed up,but still the valid point that 53 percent of his constituents voted OUT-I have and you’re wrong.
75% Turn out still 53% of his constituency that he represents voted out most MPs have no morals end of!was it 75% though Joe? Just for confirmation
little bit of a difference there though mate!Turn out still 53% of his constituency that he represents voted out most MPs have no morals end of!
Mate Did you not notice that bit where I accepted that writ large ? The poster recommended we google , we did he was wrong . I appreciate people make mistakes but untruths pepper this debate and it’s frustrating.
I consider you the significantly more reasonable debater out of you two I tried , as I always do to be polite , we don’t have to agree but it’d be nice if people accepted they were wrong . Whether that’s for sticking a number on the side of a bus , lying about meeting the Russian ambassador, Osborne and his emergency budget or electiorial figures .
You seem an intelligent enough bloke and although we disagree we can debate , although it seems we are living in a post truth era people can’t complain when they're pulled up for being wrong then double down on it so get pulled up again . With the obvious exception of POTUS obviously.
no difference his constituency voted OUTlittle bit of a difference there though mate!
which would you rather his constituency by 6%, and of course there is no rule that states he has to follow their uneducated opinion, that is kind of what MP's are for, or his conscience?no difference his constituency voted OUT
sorry I got the high turn out wrong , but the argument stands he went against his constituency!
Ironically, Lee put his integrity and honesty ahead of his career, refused to back the Govts position and was steadfast in his view that the public should have the opportunity to have their say on the final Brexit deal.Turn out still 53% of his constituency that he represents voted out most MPs have no morals end of!
He has no conscience...which would you rather his constituency by 6%, and of course there is no rule that states he has to follow their uneducated opinion, that is kind of what MP's are for, or his conscience?
suits you sir suits you.......Ironically, Lee put his integrity and honesty ahead of his career, refused to back the Govts position and was steadfast in his view that the public should have the opportunity to have their say on the final Brexit deal.
That’s not a betrayal of his duties as a MP, in fact it’s quite the converse. The fact that his own constituency voted for Brexit 2 years ago was completely irrelevant to his stance.
