This is as unsurprising as it is damning.

My view is this is just the beginning too. We've lost the ability to compete as we've turned our back on a massive reason foreign investment came here - we were the 'door' to Europe with a strong financial sector.

Brexit is complete madness yet I actually agree with Hartley-Brewer to one extent - there's almost no point talking about it anymore. What should be happening now is people should be collating the names of people like her and others who were either responsible or encouraged this disaster through repeated lies and deceit and hold them to account for it in a few years.

They should be branded, with the star of Farage placed upon their lapel and the front door of their house. Shops would then be legally allowed to refuse them entry and they would have to step into the road when faced with the righteous remainers on the pavement.

Tell me how many bankers across the USA and UK have been charged and convicted with almost tanking the respective economies due to fraudulent activity in the mid-2000s. That was a bigger disaster than anything potentially happening now. But the likes of you conveniently forget that, and blather on about how it (our exit from the EU) will impact small coteries of the community (usually those that impact YOU personally). Do me a favour, Bruce, get real and join the human race...

I meant "how many bankers across the USA and UK have been charged and convicted with almost tanking the respective economies due to fraudulent activity" - they have at least banged some up, but we haven't.
