You're getting very personal dear, what's the problem ?
If you don't agree with what someone says just say so. You know I meant it as an opinion not a fact, so you do yourself no favours by descending to the 'but you stated it as fact not opinion' argument. It makes you look silly.
I took issue with his assertion that he would be happy to be in the EU it was only comprised of its richest members, which to me is a selfish attitude. He is quite capable of disagreeing with me himself without you trying to nitpick your way throught my words, so please desist.
Don't call me 'dear', what's YOUR problem.
You are obviously someone who thouht he could dish out some crap to pete without anything coming back at you. WhenI responded, you turn to insults like 'pedantic', when my postes were nothing of the sort.
I did not agree with some of the things you posted, and said so. If you decide to say something, you cannot impute into something now, words that were not there originally. That is not logical.
This was the conversation:
"pete: These EU funds came from the U.K., we sent them to Brussels, they sent less of them back. Merseyside has received no funds that were generated by or were given as a gift from the EU.....it was our own money... you will find this out soon enough when you are a net contributor to the club........
Your reply: What a terribly selfish attitude to have."
You're making this up as you go along, aren't you?
