3. It's not massively undemocratic. Don't know how you come by that point.
'cos the Daily Mail and Rupert Murdoch conned the great unwashed to buy in to their xenophobic agenda.

Really? You actually believe that...?![]()

Yes - for a large proportion of Leave voters I think that applies.
A lot of the rest were bribed on the £350m a week Jobbie.
I think maybe 5% had a sense of a clearly thought out philosophy.
1. Proper democracy was applied to the referendum vote. All eligible to vote within the terms of reference of membership in the UK were notified in good time of their right to vote. They had three choices:
a) vote remain;
b) vote leave
c) do not vote (abstain).
2. NI & Scotland (and Wales) all came within the ambit of the overall UK. Therefore, notwithstanding the breakdown voting in those particular areas, they were bound by the overall democratic vote of the whole of the UK. The overall decision was not to be broken down into several component parts.

Get the EU to apologise if they shaft you!I hope everyone who voted leave is going to apologise when the EU has well and truly shafted us, the economy is in the bin, and we're all having to eat our own pets to survive.
Learn it then mate, it helps.Yes Sir!
Get the EU to apologise if they shaft you!
They've been shafting the UK for years and want a pay off too!
Can I interest you in a mandate? In the future all currency will be space bytes, 2 food pills cost half a byte, all genders will be quint-sexual and mauve. The WILL of the people of Eurtopia will be aggregated by googlized algorithm.
Anyone brings up anything and it's this.No point in trying to continue any sensible discussion with you about democracy and the vote...
Anyone brings up anything and it's this.
Do you lot really believe this is how debate works? Honestly?
Exactly what I did there, well noticed. Bet you a tenner if it was a post longer than 17 words you'd actually misinterpret whatever you want out of about 3 words you've seen, as it is the agenda.Have you read my post where I went into detail about the democratic vote? Post #22687 on page 1512.
The guy did not respond in any way shape or form to my point about the democratic vote. Instead, he replied with this: "...'cos the Daily Mail and Rupert Murdoch conned the great unwashed to buy in to their xenophobic agenda..."
I have no problem with people not being happy with the outcome (that has been ongoing since 24th June last year), but for you to question me as to how debate works...
