As is abiding by a properly constituted vote - is it not?

It appears it sticks in the craw of certain people that their chosen course was not the one that carried the majority vote in the referendum.

Doesnt stick in craw mate. Not even a little bit.

Just a bit surprised that some seem content to accept whatever we end up with after a binary option referendum. We are leaving. Just not sure the same folk who voted to leave wouldnt want to have a say in "How?"

For what it's worth, seeing as you ignored the rest of what I wrote - not even half of those are from the EU, to quote official 2015 statistics.

"3.219.4 billion" is not a valid number, but if you mean 3 billion, or even 3 trillion for that matter - the GNI of the UK is 233 trillion $PPP, so it's still not even a drop in the ocean.

*to edit myself but still remaining a tit and true to my mistakes lol , was thinking of something else apparently - it can't be 3 trillion as that's the correct GNI of the UK. My bad!
lol you got a bit befuddled there did you not its 3 billion deficit every year!

If we had gone for a swift Brit Exit instead of moaners throwing obstacles in the way we would know by now would we not?

Oh, soz. Re read the post. Yeah, maybe I guess. But politics done on the hoof rarely seem to be cohesive, successful, or effective.

The Unions are weaker now that inside the EU! Fact!

Or they are just in decline due to the rapid investment in technology and thus less people in the traditional jobs that they were created for.

Modern technology companies and white collar companies don't have access to unions or offer material on any of their own internal program. There are more jobs in offices than there are in factories now.

It's a thing of the past so much so a lot of them have joined forces and merged to try keep revenue up and numbers up.

There are not too many industries that use them. I suspect to it's to do with changing attitudes among young workers (millennials). A lot of younger companies offer more to their employees and treat them right or well better than they used to. Also possibly that many companies don't operate like factories, mills and labor intensive places do.

As there are less traditional jobs and more technology jobs they are finding it harder to fill their memberships. So much so Unions are not exclusive any more and are gathering members openly nowadays.

Have a read of this

I did say 'certain people' not all, roydo.

It's not a matter of being content in accepting. It was a case of the people giving a particular direction via the Referendum, and then the implementation would be down to the senior officals of the Government and the back-up staff who support them.

I believe what we all want are sensible terms for both sides, but all I see at present are pronouncements from EU officials that appear to want to throw a spanner in the works at every turn. Had I voted to remain, I would be looking at those officials of/pronouncements from the EU and wonder whether there was any further point remaining with people such as them who appear to have the tact and diplomacy and negotiating skills of last week's turd...

Well putting your annoyances about who is negotiating, and how, aside, I assume you are content to accept what ever the final deal is. Because you have been quite stark in your assessment that we have voted leave, ergo, we leave, so must be content with whatever terms we get.

Unless you think that maybe Parliament, or heaven forbid, the public, get to vote on those said terms.

Its a position I find quite strange amongst your side of the vote.
