Shorter than the EU ones in my recent limited experience!

I was just saying that mocking the kids wasn't fair, as they weren't strictly wrong.

To be fair, I wasn't mocking the 22/23 year olds or whatever they were, my recollection of it was more a cameo of the perceptions and/or ambiguity of what in or out means to some.

You'll end up with far darker shades of Toryism if we leave mate.

I am afraid an 'out' will open the gates for the worst tories you have ever known.

So be it. At least we will see their true colours and have the chance to get rid. I don't believe that accepting a milder form of a system I dislike should be seen as any sort of a good thing.

May as well be hanged for a sheep as a lamb...............

Yes, and Europe has fought and squabbled amongst itself since the Romans. We've been in a world where we thought that globalised trade would be enough to prevent wars, and it wasn't. Are we really to believe that the likely slump back into recession caused by Brexit coupled with the powderkeg of the ongoing refugee situation isn't going to kick off? We've already seen populists gain ground enormously in France and the Netherlands. They've come within a whisker of power in Austria and are in government in Poland and Greece. Now is not the time to turn our back on Europe.
1) If globalised trade isn't enough to stop wars, how will continental-sized trading blocs be enough?
2) Refugees don't start wars about recessions mate. And we aren't going to invade Syria just because our housing market experiences a readjustment.
3) France and the Netherlands are democratic states. Their populations are entitled to elect whomever they choose.
4) Who have Poland and Greece declared war on since the populists gained power?

Bonus question: have you heard of NATO?

did you know?

Everton were actually set to sign Yarmalenko last year until the EU stepped in and vetoed the move citing it would give them an unfair advantage in the league.

they have stepped in a couple times before as well to similar effect for playmakers .

The EU has riddled our country with dangerous bums at the tax payers expense FACT!!!

Most of our immigrants are from Poland and Ireland. The Poles have been here in significant numbers since WWII and the Irish long before that. Had we been capable of dealing with our homegrown dangerous bums, imported ones wouldn't pose a problem.
