This is the post that started it, you stated he was 81 million and I stated that no one includes salary when they show the transfer fee of a player. It really is simple mate. Going by your "logic" Gylfs trasnfer was 71million when we ALL know it was 45.

You're not understanding it still.

You have to commit to a wage so yes, the deal was for £81m. Maybe Juventus were willing to pay the £45m in fees but not commit to the £36m in wages? Maybe that's why Dortmund got him in the end? It's all important.

@DanB90 @TheBigIguana

Sorry to bring you guys back into this but did either of you find what I was explaining about the cost Haaland's transfer confusing? As I think I've given this poor man a brain aneurysm.
There is nothing confusing other than me pointing out to you that all transfers have the same fees attached (maybe not father) but agent and wages. However, when discussing transfer fees, it is only the actual value of sale that is stated . You can then read into the details of the deal and find the agents fees and salary, of course you can but that is not what people ever refer to when talking transfers.

And massive lol at you getting back up ffs, playground stuff going on here.
Leave me out of this lads. I don’t want no trouble.

I heard it was down to Dortmund and United. Maybe there were more but when Harry Maguire cost the same amount it feels like everyone should have been at least trying to get him to pick their club.
Maguire cost a lot more if you count his wages for the full length of his contract.
