I thought Souness makes a great point what is the point of having an out and out goalscorer making great runs to have the moron Grealish take 4 extra touches and pass it backwards or win a pointless free kick in a pointless position just for them to pass it backwards. If anyone has watched a Pep press conference recently it's blatantly clear that he's a bit mad. I don't know if Haaland leaving I believe, but I'll buy dressing room discontent for sure.

Newcastle not for quite a few years I think. They’re gonna fall down the league now like we did a couple of seasons ago. Can see them getting bogged down in lesser euro competitions for a while that will make it more difficult to break through. They have to invest massively on their training facilities and stadium as well.

I think they have faltered a bit and will do well to stay in top 4, but the owners can shell as much cash into training ground and stadium as they wish without affecting FFP can’t they? (And I believe they already are doing so/have plans to do so)

They do need a top 4 finish though, as like you say, otherwise they get bogged down into secondary competitions and it’s becomes more challenging.
