Also, whilst on very very rare occasions cyclists have been known to kill pedestrians, the impact doesn't come close to that of a vehicle. Nowhere near.

Why should they be let off eg the sentences for causing a death being leveled up to ten years like a motorist .'...... Imagine the extra taxes to be gained by treating themIike any other road users ?

Cycle lanes which aren't used aren't fit for purpose.

Imagine all those people who cycle in cars clogging up the roads.

As been pointed out, zero emissions road users don't pay vehicle duty. Bikes don't cause emissions. Bikes don't damage roads.

Pedestrians and horse riders can cause accidents. The number of fatal accidents caused by cyclists are minuscule compared to cars. It's not comparable at all.

Drove from the age of 18 years old - passed test for a motorbike Car - minibus .....drove tractors & could reverse with a trailer ......
Also I would tax caravans too on the road .....
All income being refused by any governments
An 18 year old cyclists should also have to pass a test plus mobile caravans..'.
Great income for the government
Only horses should be allowed exception as they were the first transport plus handy for free manure on the road ......

The speed limit doesn't apply to cyclists. It's safer to disgard whatever Joe says as nonsense. It will save you time.
