We must focus on the big threats like gender neutral toilets and the military becoming woke
We may jest, but these really are the issues at the forefront of the minds belonging regular Telegraph readers...it's hard to stomach the supposed seriousness of a discussion centred around rights to someone else's toilet. Blanket blaming HR (whatever their merits or otherwise) is another one. Ridiculous state of affairs.

So you agree that it's a big issue, but that we're not doing any where near enough to stop?

Incidentally, what would you do?
you can`t stop multi-nationals and governments colluding thereby making £billions- then pretending the solution is to tax the public.
what should/could be done-
1/ me personally? -you could say i promote green spaces. i re-use everything as much as possible to a ridiculous degree because i`m daft and it amuses me.
2/ the general population?- whatever they like, its a free world so go and knock yourselves out peeps. i do my thing because i love wildlife and habitats but most people don`t, if they want to fly jets for the hell of it what right have i got to stop them.
3/ the powers that be? they could stop concreting and putting acres of tarmac over everything that doesn`t move but they won`t, they are the problem as i see it which is habitat destruction not `global warming`
4/ conurbations present local issues, have you heard of `urban heat islands`?

I heard a rumour they paved paradise and put up a parking lot.

i wouldn`t call a tax to combat the climate `problem` political
Hmm, I would.
We elect political parties to govern us. The taxes they collect and what they spend it on is one of the single biggest differentiations between parties.
But we digress, do you believe humans are responsible for climate change?

we elect politicians to serve us.

lolIt barely gets the coverage it should warrant.

Who is profiting from climate change action? Bill Gates?
for real? shut the front door! its been getting blanket media coverage and it throws in emotional blackmail too in the form of a schoolkid who doesn`t go to school on the other side of the ocean.
who`s profiting? - not you mate.

...anyway, the temperature has dropped a bit on my balcony and i`ve got to stop posting so i can fire up my patio heater.
