Solar power is cheaper, especially when you factor in the cost of managing the waste indefinitely, which never is factored into any discussion around nuclear.Nuclear power. We need lots and lots of nuclear power...

What capacity does solar have to power the entire country do you think? I read an article not long a go about these small scale nuclear plants they could possibly build just to power one city at a time type thing. like £100 million to power just liverpool etc etc.. I'd just launch nuclear waste in to space! lolSolar power is cheaper, especially when you factor in the cost of managing the waste indefinitely, which never is factored into any discussion around nuclear.
It would be feasible. The average house has easily enough external space to install a sufficient number of panels to power the house. The Swedish company I spoke to yesterday is installing solar arrays at various industrial facilities, from Microsoft to Toyota, to help them create more of their own energy as well. That's the thing with Johnson, he's full of bullshit and no concrete action. It'd be fairly easy, for instance, to mandate all new homes to have solar panels on the roof. They don't do that though. What capacity does solar have to power the entire country do you think? Well that's just it, why are we not utilising the provision of 'free' power from the sun more? I'm still of the thinking that a lot of these Solar installers are still a con, like they used to be and also that power companies don't want us getting our own power source! It would be feasible. A guy I knew who had panels installed on his roof said it was the best financial decision he’d ever made. He was about to go bankrupt mind you.Well that's just it, why are we not utilising the provision of 'free' power from the sun more? The price of the technology fell by around 80% during the last decade as well, so it's only getting more affordable and more efficient.Well that's just it, why are we not utilising the provision of 'free' power from the sun more? Hmmm... Ive a large 20 foot garden building that is prime for panels facing south. Do you think its actually worth me considering getting some fitted? Are they too heavy for a wooden roof do you know?A guy I knew who had panels installed on his roof said it was the best financial decision he’d ever made. He was about to go bankrupt mind you.
I think it’s worth looking at. As for all the logistics I’d imagine speaking with a specialist would be advisable lolHmmm... Ive a large 20 foot garden building that is prime for panels facing south. Our house roof has a dormer fitted on the south side now so panels may not be plausible..
