With all the rain we have had for several months, one would expect them to now be struggling to process it all, it's just their initial baseline seems to be so low. Is it just the building of whole new villages and towns without any additional infrastructure ? Adding one million to our population in controlled immigration is going to take a toll, and moderate future sea-level rise is going to impede the 'system' further.
What a mess, and that's without considering the chemicals. Even if they filter some of these out, I believe they dispose of it on farms as a fertiliser, so these chem's either end up compounding on the land or make their way back into the water table/system.

I was quite shocked to learn how our dirty water sites worked, when we did a project on one a few year a go.

They basically just sieve the lumps out, which are then incinerated. The poo water is then just pumped back in to the sea pretty much untreated. Its gross!

They wont be happy until all our water is polluted and undrinkable..

Maybe of interest - anecdotal but reasoned description on how well intended water regulations are being tweaked to raise barriers to entry in favour of corporate farming vs small local farm provision. As an aside, this bloke declares he's a climate skeptic in the video.

Oh, and it's not just Oregon, similar is happening in France and elsewhere, we're only a tweak away too...

54% increase in sewage spills last year!!
First time ever that 100% of outlets were monitored. So, technically the first genuine number ever recorded.

It's the rains fault
The wrong type of leaves on the line
The post masters were stealing
There were no parties
So what the ppe was defective, here's the bill
You're all sacked and can be rehired in the carpark at half pay

The spit* show in britains waters isn't the only spit* show in town...

Poor Rick Stein, what will the average increases be across his many menu's to reflect the added value in his fare.

Who will speak up for the multimillionaires? (I like Stein and Floyd btw)
