Spot on, and similar to what I’ve been thinking. What causes a person with more money they can spend to punch down on people without?

I was reading recently how school bullies tend to do quite well in life, largely due to increased confidence. These people often become directors, I’ve worked under a good few, as that sort of character used to thrive in the construction industry.

Super rich people are boring as hell. They could use their fortunes to make tangible improvements to human life. Invent a life saving product, build new towns etc. or just waste it all on travelling and fun. Instead these psychopaths choose to hoard it all and inflict as much pain as possible. They’re so bitter and devoid of happiness that the only joy they experience is from making themselves feel better than others in their insecure little worlds.
