If I agreed with you, we’d both be wrong.
It's OK they managed to stop that.. I think they stopped it with the acid rain that was going to melt us all in the 80s they just poured it on the glaciers.Who was crazy for imminent ice ages?

Is this about the Anglian Uni thing and using wood rings as a proxy?I'm going to keep you on ignore as I believe climate change deniers are a fringe element and your multi link conspiracy theory post style is tedious.
You are championing Tim Ball in opposition, a man who falsely claimed to be a climatologist, also laughably claimed co2 is not a greenhouse gas and who's organisation had to issue a full apology and retraction to Mann in court. The email links campaign was one spurred on with links to Saudi, Russia and fossil fuel companies, the harrassment of scientists after was fueled by koch funded think tanks and those who cited balls non-peer reviewed work was almost exclusively fossil fuel funded republicans, most prominently the buffoon Sarah Palin as a campaign to keep polar bears from an endangered speicies list.
Here is a peer reviewed assessment of Mann's work from an acredited source, while it has its limitations, your conspiracy nonsense is just that

The article I posted mentions the tree rings (ice core samples also used I believe), the attack on Mann and his team was also a big part of an email leaks scandal funded by the koch brothers and the Lair family, really really obvious links to the fossil fuel industry that you would have to be willingly blind to ignore. It was a really nasty campaign that resulted in death threats and uni's hiring security in a blatant attempt to scare climate scientists. Is this about the Anglian Uni thing and using wood rings as a proxy?
Yeah, some good content, and his intro is a very good overview imo. Quite skeptical of some of the ambitious mitigation efforts he's proposing mind, capitalism loves adding layers, never taking away and it's a complicated solution that may beget other issues. He's very intelligent, but over-specialisation within a discipline frequently prevents the anticipation of consequences elsewhere. Not that i'm saying it's necessarily the case here like. Wouldn't stopping the use of herb/pesticides sink carbon in the living biomass ?Was actually reading a bit on the decimation of whale populations (and the loss of their faeces) affecting the oceans as carbon sink. Good to see that touched on here amongst a number of other topics.
