Makes me sick. And it's just so utterly stupid. In the last 30 years the number of cars on our roads have doubled. Encouraging more people to drive will further the deterioration of our roads ( we don't have the resources to fix them as it is) and Joe bloggs the tradesman will just be stuck in more congestion.

But we know what this is all about. It's Sunak pandering to big oil. Enriching himself. These people are ****ing scum. Billionaires just wanting more and more at our expense. The world is burning but their selfishness know no bound. I truly dispair.

Honestly I feel like I’ve suffered some sort of head injury this morning. 20mph speed limits are against British values? Wanting to breathe in clean air is woke nonsense?

Hadn't heard of this tree, but that's really disgusting. Absolutely senseless. Probably one of those big two person saws?? I suspect that even if the folks are caught, there are probably not very stiff penalties for that crime, sort of like animal cruelty--usually a fine or a month (max) in jail, or something way-too-small.

The lad who cut the tree down has upset a lot of people, it's OK to destroy beauty spots slowly but don't do it overnight because it effects me instead of when I'm dead and wont effect me, the youth of today are selfish I tell ya.

There is some sense in it - at work the other day someone who I'd never in a million years have thought would spout Tory talking points was banging on about the war on the motorist, how Khan was going to bring in charging by the mile etc etc.
