With the greatest of respect mate, you're missing the point

Right now Koeman has shot this season to smithereens, so we need to find a way to avoid getting dragged into the relegation dogfight. Our players do not have the right mentality to survive that. Once we get sucked in, we're not getting out at this current juncture

This has now officially become a survival season

Fair weather fans might not remember what those are, but you need to have the right mindset to get through them. With Koeman we do not and will not have that mindset, so he has to go and a firefighter needs to come in and rescue things

We can worry about the other stuff once the holes in the ship have been plugged

We're not in a relegation battle, we just won't do the stuff we thought we'd do mid summer.

League table says otherwise mate.I tell you i thought we'd would be closing the gap on the top four. That was my expectation for the season. But now i would snap your hand off for 40 points and just write off the season. That's how bad things are.

That's just plain old ridiculous. Talk about pressing the panic button.

We look worse though week by week, which is concerning. We do not look like we can win a match. We look like we are
playing with no forward or striker to pass to. It seems to be all on January and who we bring in

Look at the table, see how we’re playing, realise how clueless the manager looks - why is it ridiculous?

Exactly

We barely beat Bournemouth at home and laboured to a draw away at Brighton

They will be in the relegation battle and we barely did anything against either of them

Again, it comes down to a question of mentality

You need to have proper bottle to survive dropping into the relegation dogfight

With Koeman, we don't have that mentality, so if we keep getting bad results and get dragged in then it's only going to go one way

We flirted with it in 14/15 (at one point in second half of season we were 3 points ahead of Villa who were rooted in the bottom 3). That was with Lukaku Barkley and Stones in the team. Arguably we don't have any player as good as them any more. Plus we had proven prem players who had done it before like Osman (who pretty much turned us round that season) and Naismith. We've not got any grit anywhere in this team. All we can hope for is Koeman gets fired or Coleman, Bolasie or mythical January signing sparks and upturn in form.

Plus, we hung on against Stoke. The two wins we've had so far could easily have been a draw and a loss and have barely papered over the massive cracks that are evident to the vast majority of the fanbase.

We are getting worse and worse every week, and that will continue with moral dropping. We're literally powerless to change it until January when we can finally bring in a striker (if the club actually do this time).

"Too big to go down"

Dangerous talk

Mikey, I will hold you personally responsible if they sack Ronald only to get in somebody to 'keep us up'

We are not going to be worse off than Brighton, Palace, Huddersfield, Swansea or Bournemouth come the end of the season. A very poor start to the season doesn't warrant that kind of panicing.

We need to sack him when we have an actual proper replacement lined up. One to take us forward, not just to sort out a mess.
