My best mate is West Ham.

He was raving about this lad when West Ham signed him going on about how serious he was etc etc bubbles and stuff.

Why did West Ham loan him to another Premier League side? Did he nob Slavans daughter ffs..

All a bit odd to me.

Still, I'll give the lad a chance, it's what real fans do.

Would love to know why they wanted rid though...

There was an interview by Toffee TV on deadline day with two West Ham fans about Valencia. Both said he was brilliant when he first arrived but for the last season he'd been horrendous. Said there would be groans in the crowd when he name was read out at the line up. Also said he'd be forced to play as a winger by Bilic which wasn't his proffered position. Valencia said much the same in his interview on Everton.com yesterday. Guess we'll see who's right soon enough. :)

barkley syndrome maybe? where he was crap when he was shunted out to the wing because it's not his position?

Could well be. He wasn't having a dig at Bilic in his interview but he did say something along the lines of he'd started off as a striker and then being forced to play as a winger - which wasn't his best position.

I'm looking forward to seeing him play. I'm absurdly confident with Everton at the moment so I'm trusting Koeman and Walsh's judgment on this signing. ;)
