At the end of the day boys and girls he is here now. Not ideal I know but we can't make him the scapegoat for the travesty that was deadline day, The fault lies elsewhere. He is here because he wants to be and others did not so when he dons that royal blue jersey we support him, the rest of the team and the gaffer.

He's been brought in as a back up forward. I've seen enough of him to know that he's definitely better than what we've got as it stands, so it's an improvement in that sense (though we could have done better).

Btw, Marcelo is very underrated defensively. He mainly is very snidey but he's really improved. There aren't many better left backs than him around at the moment (totally off kilter this and nothing to do with Valencia, though)
