Maybe we should draft in Adam Gemili. Sure, he can't play football but he can run fast in a straight line or gently curving line.

I'd take a player who looked as though he had the required fitness pace and strength to be a premier league footballer. Not old men who have to jump into slide tackles for a second touch.

Well, we're going to find out soon enough. I hope you're right but I don't have any faith in this mob to recruit the players needed and I don't have any faith in Koeman to move to a more fluid system. Maybe it's the bi-annual derby blues but I am worried for the future.

Was the Leicester team which sat rock bottom of the EPL at the start of 2015 put together by him as well?

I'd have preferred him to have stayed on instead of Lukaku. At least he is lively and holds the ball up better (not hard). He's a defensive liability on the right though.

Still, based on extending Baines & Barry's deals, what will probably happen is that he'll score two in a game against a relegated side towards the end of the season and then be signed for £14M and given a 4 year contract.

He'd get a 5 year contract and a 4 year work permit.....Nyarko-esque.

On a more general note, I just groan we have a free kick anywhere within about 35 yards of the goal.

It is always an invitation for someone to try a shot on goal and that comes off about once in every ten so I would rather see them work on clever little routines aimed at getting a shooter in with a sight of the goalkeeper's sclera.

..it's one thing having pace and athleticism but we need offensive players with the ability to create and score goals from nothing. Valencia certainly isn't in that category.
