Right, if GrandOldTeam posted a story about us signing, oh I dunno, Riquelme or something, thousands upon thousands of Everton fans believe it.

Conversely, if the GrandOldTeam forums run an epic thread on Owen, thousands of people who read the thread will believe it as it hasn't been locked or given short shrift.

They'll especially believe it if it's "backed up" by whoppers on Twitter.
