I’d England are embarrassed in similar fashion as the usually are this summer will be beautiful, it’s already started out spectacularly!

Who'd want to associate themselves with this rabble?

I reckon this England team might surprise a few on here.

Not me saying that, some bloke who has managed Germany since Noah was a lad.

Goalkeepers: Jack Butland (Stoke), Jordan Pickford (Everton), Nick Pope (Burnley).

Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Fabian Delph (Manchester City), Phil Jones (Manchester United), Harry Maguire (Leicester), Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur), John Stones (Manchester City), Kieran Trippier (Tottenham Hotspur), Kyle Walker (Manchester City), Ashley Young (Manchester United).

Midfielders: Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur), Eric Dier (Tottenham Hotspur), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Jesse Lingard (Manchester United), Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Chelsea).

Forwards: Harry Kane (Tottenham), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Raheem Sterling (Manchester City), Jamie Vardy (Leicester), Danny Welbeck (Arsenal).

id say out of them players i like about 4, dont dislike about 6 and hate the rest

Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak.

Expectations are at an all time low for this England squad. Everyone and their mum is expecting them to royally mess it up. They have nothing to lose, and that's why they could surprise us.

Then again...this is England. I'm fully expecting a ground stage exit after a defeat to Belgium, a similar defeat to Tunisia and a dull 0-0 draw with Panama.

Panic over! BBC Breakfast just said 'good news everyone, Mo Salah will be fit for the World Cup'

I must have missed the bit where he switched his allegiance to England.

I want England to win this not just for national pride but also to see fans of the other home nations go into a RAWK-style meltdown.

Quarter Finals is a good return for them really

I'm from England and can hardly be arsed to support them so I can't see why some poor sod in Wrexham or Dingwall should be that bothered

Living not too far from Dingwall there's more chance of us up here supporting Peru even though they caused us our own greatest embarrasment at a World Cup ... or was that Costa Rica .. or Morocco ..

Anyway Best Regards and don't forget to behave

Abe ( Anyone but .. ;) )

If Britain were to build a football team, what non-English players would get into the team? In my opinion, Gareth Bale (Wales) up front, Ramsey (Wales) in Midfield, Robertson (Scotland) in LB, Jonny Evans (NI) and Ashley Williams (Wales) in defence, and maybe also Joe Allen could get into the midfield?

Ben Davies has been putting in work for Wales, and he's versatile enough that he's played CB for them. Other than that I don't think I'd take anyone else barring Darren Fletcher just for the experience in the middle of the field.
