I personally think a lot of the ‘positives’ being spoken about have been waaaaay over hyped.

I wanted England to win. I am off to Majorca at the weekend with some mates and I will happily join in with them and cheer England on then too. I don't have to wish for any failures as they are quite capable of doing that themselves as we nearly saw yesterday. Can you imagine a world cup winning side that contained Ashley Young? Nor me.

If they do it that will be amazing, i don't want youngsters growing up to my sort of age that have never seen a home nation lift a world cup. However I just can't see it happening. England need the team of 2002/4 to be playing in this fallow period for all the other nations, they would have walked it.
