With England you could pick a very good first 11, maybe even one to challenge the big boys but beyond that their depth is awful.

I have thought for a while how an England team picked from Championship clubs only would get on. I reckon they would give that squad more than a good game.

Most championship clubs when they get promoted are the whipping boys of the league.

So hard to make a decent side with that. Attack and midfield isn't that bad, but defence is a real struggle

Although I quite like Dier too.

That's basically Man City and Man Utd's defense plus Delph and Jones are obviously options too.

The biggest problem England have is Southgate. He will go there, play 2 defensive midfielders. Keep the fullbacks from pushing up and play to the strengths of his opponents and the weaknesses of his players.

With Walker and Young/Delph/Rose England need to try and control the possession and play in the opposition's half. Unfortunately for them they will do the opposite.

They play on either side of the pitch. They aren't a partnership. I think you have to play the best two fullbacks and Walker is definitely one. I think Delph and Young are both ahead of Rose.
